Family name is entered variously as Sot, Soten or Sotten.
Of note, there is an entry that mentions Melchior Sot of Luetzelheim, possibly
a brother of Blaess, getting married, so perhaps that is where Blaess came
from as well.

The death note in the church book reads,"On the 26th of April (1736), Johannes,
the illegitimate child of Barbara, the surviving widow of the late Martin
Baeyck, former day worker of this place, was buried. He died of the sweats. His
age was 2 years, 3 months, less 4 days."
The birth record names the father, but it is very difficult to read; it might
be Jacob Haus.

40-50 years old and having a daughter 20-30 years old.

The only reference to this child is in the death record of the older brother
Martin. Of the two witnesses one is noted to be "Georg Beyck the brother."
This child's name is nowhere to be found in the birth records of Bischofsheim.
(Later entry) A small note can be found on the border of page 107 of the birth
book which documents Georg's birth in Aug 1717.
