Notes
Note for: Agnes(?) , - 22 JUN 1636
Last name is spelled "Kofer" in death record.
Notes
Note for: Daniel Hetzen, -
Daniel Hetzen was married to a woman named Anna Maria and had children by
her
until 1667. He began a family with Margaretha in 1669 but there is no
record of
this marriage in the books in Leutesheim.
Notes
Note for: Margaretha , ABT 1632 - 12 OCT 1697
Occupation is listed in death notice as "hebamm" or midwife.
Notes
Note for: Hans Karch, 25 MAR 1646 - 15 DEC 1703
Hans Karch was married twice and had four sons names Johannes, three by
his
first wife Maria Riebel and another by his second, Katherina Hummel. One
of
these sons married Maria Zimmer but it is difficult to know with
certainty
whether he was one of Maria's or Katherina's sons. However, the son that
married Maria Zimmer had three daughters named Maria, Catherina and
Brigetta.
He did not have any daughters named Anna. That probably indicates that
his
mother was more likely Katherina Hummel than Anna Riebel and so I have
continued the research on that assumption.
Age at death is recorded as 60, not the 57 he probably was, but since he
was
born in Diersheim the minister didn't have his birth record available to
refer
to when figuring his exact age (he died in Leutesheim).
Notes
Note for: Brigetta Schreiner, 20 SEP 1652 - 17 FEB 1723/24
Age at death recorded as 72 years, 4 months.
Notes
Note for: Martin Schreiner, 16 NOV 1600 -
The marriage record of Martin's daughter Brigetta says that he is from
Doersheim, which is probably Diersheim, just a couple of miles away.
Martin is almost certainly the son of Michel Schreiner, though this
cannot be
absolutely proven. The were two Martin Schreiners born in the correct
time
frame to have been Brigetta's father; the one born to Michel and one born
to
Baschen and Berbel. When Martin married Catharina, he was noted to be a
widower, and only one other marriage of a Martin can be found in the
books
before the date he married Catharina and that is the marriage of Martin,
Michel's son, and Barbara Manshardt. This couple had two children in the
next
several years and then no more are listed, but then Martin and Catharina
are
listed as having a number of children.
Notes
Note for: Katherina Hummel, ABT 1649 - 28 FEB 1712/13
Age at death recorded as 64 years, less 1 month, 9 days.
Notes
Note for: Jacob Karch, -
Jacob had been married to Maria Muher(?) 16 Jul 1637 before his marriage
to
Catherine. When he married Catherine Honeber on 13 Oct 1644 he was
described,
in the marriage record, as a citizen of "Bottersweyhr", almost certainly
the
town of Bodersweier.
Notes
Note for: Catherine Honeber, -
Catherine had bad luck; she was widowed three times before marrying Jacob
Karch. She married:
Hans Conradt Wielar(?), Conradt Wielar's son, 27 Apr 1624.
Leonhardt Schneider, 1 Nov 1631
Michael Riebel of Diersheim, 2 Jul 1633
before marrying Jacob on 13 Oct 1644.
According to her father's remarriage information in 1612, Catherine and
her
father came from the village of Offendorf, which is just across the Rhein
River
from Freistett, in an area that is now in France.
Notes
Note for: Barbara Thoennig, -
Her marriage to Jorg Zimmer was her second.
Notes
Note for: Caspar Zimmer, -
Caspar Zimmer was recorded as being from what appears to be
"Ziehelsshaum",
and this is probably the modern town of Zierolshofen, a small town
between
Holzhausen and Bodersweier.
