Occupation is recorded as being a smith.
Notes
Note for: Agatha , -
After her first husband died in 1599 (Wilhelm Baschens), Agatha
remarried; the
entry in the marriage book reads, "Georg Hetz, the son of Baschens Hetz
from
Holtzhausen, and Agatha, the surviving widow of Wilhelm Baschens, the
citizen
and smith from here (meaning Bischofsheim), celebrated their wedding. 6
May
1600.
Notes
Note for: Friedrich Konig, - 4 AUG 1589
The death record reads "Friderich (sic) Konig, citizen of Holzhausen, died
after he fell out of a tall pear tree the other day and broke the thick
part of
his thigh."
Since Friderich had a son with the same name it is hard to be sure that
it was
the father and not the son who fell from the tree and died. However:
1. In the Directory to the City, the father has "obyt" by his name and
the
son does not have an "o" which typically was placed by the offspring's
name when
they died.
2. The death notice does not list a father for the deceased as it usually
does for children
3. The Directory shows Friderich and his wife remarrying, so he was
probably young when he died.
In addition to the children shown on the family group, the Directory shows
Frderich as having three stepchildren, Lorentz, Georg and Michel.
Notes
Note for: Agnes , -
The Directory to the City shows Agnes being married to Friderich, and then
indicates that he died. She subsequently married Michael Karch. She is
then
shown to have died and Michael remarried to a woman named Appolonia.
Notes
Note for: Margreten , -
The Directory to the City of Hausgereut shows that after her first
husband,
Hans, died Margret remarried to a man named Anstet Beyhel. After she died
he is
noted to have "anfugit", which means to join, annex or enclose(?).
Notes
Note for: Georgius Eben, 16 APR 1587 - 9 DEC 1605
The birth record says Georg was born "in die Resurrections Christi den 16
April", almost certainly Easter.
Notes
Note for: Otilia Hetz, -
"Leonhardt Graeff from here and Otilia, Baschens Hetz's daughter, were
married
on 14 Aug 1594.
Notes
Note for: Christin Hetz, -
"Marzolff Wurtz and Christin, Baschens Hetz's daughter, were married 27
Jan
1596."
Notes
Note for: Georg Hetz, -
"Georg Hetz, son of Baschens Hetz from Holzhausen, married Agatha, widow
of
Wilhelm Baschens, a smith, on 6 May 1600." The Wilhelm Baschens referred
to
here is the same person as #401, the father of Margaretha Baschens, the
wife of
Hans Konig, #361.
