This a picture of Ida Eckberg taken for the local paper, "The Record." On the back are the notes, "5 sons in service; crochet tablecloth and gave it to War Mothers. Was sold and money put into wheelchair for a veteran." Ida was the president of the local Mothers of World War II, and is wearing her uniform in this picture. The picture was taken about 1944 on the west side of the Eckberg home in Wyanet. The tablecloth is hanging over one of Ida's heavy, handmade blankets.
