Bringing in the oats
Continued
Once the wagons had been loaded with the oats, they were pulled to the barnyard. Here, the wagon on the left has been pulled into the yard by a team of horses. The Case tractor is in the center. Note the wooden feed troughs in the foreground.
A horse drawn wagon sits in the center while the person on top appears to be unloading it with a pitchfork, probably into the threshing machine. The truck at left is likely collecting the threshed oats. The tractor waits at right to pull up another wagon load of oats.
This wagon load of oats, again drawn by horses, is being unloaded to the other side. The oats are being separated from the straw, which is blown up the chute into the mow.
