Grandma Eckberg's Recipes

Fruit Cookies

1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup butter or ¾ cup lard
1 small tsp soda dissolved in ½ cup raisin juice
3 ½ cups flour
pinch of salt
vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup cooked raisins
1 tsp baking powder
Very good.
