Grandma Eckberg's Recipes
Pot Beef Roast
One pound lean beef cut into small pieces and sear uncovered in oven at (450°) for 30 minutes. Add:
1 onion sliced
1 cup peas
8 slices of carrot
1 ½ teaspoon salt
2 cups canned tomatoes
Cover and finish baking (375°). Before serving thicken with two tablespoons butter to which has been added two tablespoons flour.
