The family grave of Lars Ekberg, the father of Olof Eckberg, remains well-kept in the churchyard, indicating that his descendants are still maintaining the grave and that, therefore, we still have relatives by that name in or around Skivarp.
The stone from the family grave of Anders Almstrom, Ida's father, has been moved from the original gravesite to a place on the side of the graveyard. This was done because there were no more family members in the area to maintain the grave. The grave plot is now being used by some other family. This is a common practice in Europe, where land is scarce and graveyards are reused, generation by generation. Because of the lack of family members, the Anders Almstrom home and shop was torn down in the early 1980's as it was in very poor condition. It had stood on a corner on the main street through town.
The incription says; "Master tailor Anders Almstrom's family grave."
