March 3, 2002 More recipes have been added to the "Ida's Recipes" section. Three different old-fashioned taffy recipes have been transcribed.
January 23, 2002 The Douglas and Rose-Ellen Eckberg Family Album is now easier to navigate, with the additions of links from each page to the ones before and after. Also, an improved site search engine has been added.
January 22, 2002 A couple of pictures were added to the Douglas Eckberg Family album featuring Todd Shiba, soon to be the newest member of the Orville Eckberg family after a wedding planned for August, 2002.
January 19, 2002 Much of the Orville Eckberg family gathered together in Dallas at Thanksgiving 2001. Many pictures were added to the family album. In addition, a couple of pictures were added to the family albums of Dan and Susie Eckberg and Diane (Eckberg) and Larry Benge.
January 13, 2002 Several updates have been added. First, we've added pictures of the newest member of the Orville Eckberg family, Cody Ray Benge, both in the Orville and Wanda Eckberg Album, and more in the Diane and Larry Benge Album. Also, updated and corrected information has been added to the biographical information about Tom Pettit.
November 28, 2001 After being gone from the web site for a couple of months working on other projects, we're back. The Genealogy section has been updated for the first time in about eighteen months and many new names have been added. More pages and other information will be added in the coming days.

May 11, 2001 A new chapter, "Relatives," has been added which provides information about Ekberg and Almstrom relatives who came to America before and with Olof and Ida. This includes new information about the family members' travel to America, recently gleaned from the National Archives and old census and marriage records. In the coming days links will be provided to pictures and articles about many of these relatives.
April 28, 2001 Pictures of Lars Ekberg and Anna Larsdotter, the parents of Olof Eckberg, and of Anders Almstrom and Ingar Olsdotter, the parents of Ida Magdalena Almstrom have been posted, with links to the pictures from Olof's and Ida's biographies.
